To celebrate our milestone 20th anniversary of trading and demonstrate our commitment to supporting the local community as they support us, we are delighted to announce our new partnership with national charity, Variety Golf - The Children's Charity.
We have agreed to fund-raise £25,000 in 2020 to help purchase a new Variety Club Sunshine Coach for a local Berkshire / Buckinghamshire school. To achieve this, we will be launching an innovative ‘20 for 2020’ campaign – a series of 20 local fund-raising events and initiatives in a bid to reach our £25k target.
We kick-started our 20 for 2020 fund-raising campaign with a celebratory 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner & Auction on Friday 28th February. Alan, ably assisted by the legendary Len Goodman and comic Ian Irving, invited attending guests to bid on an array of unique and alternative items including team entry to The Sir Bruce Forsyth Classic Golf Event and rare signed memorabilia from David Jason and the Only Fools & Horses cast. The atmosphere was electric and all the guests truly got behind our initiative to help provide a local Berkshire school with a much-needed transport solution. A huge thank you goes to Len and Ian for making the evening so memorable and all our loyal, generous clients who dug deep and gave what they could to our cause. We are delighted to announce that we raised nearly £7,000 on the night.
